Transmission

 

EUROSTAG® integrates power system components of the transmission network.

These include standard equipment (lines and cables, 2 and 3 windings transformers, serial branches, dissymmetrical branches…) as well as advanced devices such as HVDC systems.

  • Direct current links can indeed be modelled in EUROSTAG® in order to simulate multi-terminal HVDC systems. The DC system is mainly made of two parts: the converters with their associated controllers and the DC network.

 

  • The introduction of dissymmetrical modeling according to a Fortescue decomposition allows the study and the analysis of the power system dynamic behaviour including unlimited dissymmetrical disturbances or conditions.
