Fast - Accurate Modelling of your system

In order to achieve the top level of fidelity in dynamic simulation, it is necessary to accurately model each component of the power system.

 
Based on a generalised electromechanical model, FAST allows you to model in detail:

• Transmission grids, including all the network equipment characteristics (static and time dependant) as well as the detailed topology of the substations.
• Generating units, including the energy conversion process (boilers, turbines, etc.) as well as the speed and voltage regulations.
• Load dynamics, which play a determining role in system behaviour.
• Protective devices, included in the model to ensure that the scenario remains within physical limits.

In addition to the standard FAST  library model, one can design a customized model for any specific equipment.
